Laval, QC. January 12, 2021 – MicroAge has been successfully operating within the Canadian Information Technology landscape since 1981.  The brand is synonymous with delivering unparalleled IT services and solutions within local communities to organizations of all sizes.  With 41 locations across Canada, this national network gains their momentum by leveraging the capabilities, toolsets and field support offered by MicroAge Canada, the national franchise organization. The MicroAge Value Proposition is founded on 4 pillars:  the notoriety of the brand, access to continued education, availability of tools and proven methodologies and the benefits associated with community and membership.

Earlier in 2020 Lori Tataryn, Owner of MicroAge Prince George informed MicroAge Canada of her intent to sell her business. Mindful of supporting location owners who are looking to retire, while ensuring the continuity of the brand in the local market, MicroAge set out to find the right fit for Lori’s business and the Prince George market.

Today, we are very happy to welcome Lynda Pattie as the new Owner of MicroAge Prince George. Lynda, who is the Executive Officer and Owner of the AscenTech Solutions in Prince George, was looking to grow her existing business and become a stronger player within her market. The opportunity to acquire the already successful MicroAge Prince George business presented itself and would enable her to reach that goal. The consolidation of the two businesses, with a larger team and increased resources, will provide the Prince George market access to a top-notch team of knowledgeable and experienced people.

“The expertise and experience the team at MicroAge Prince George brings to the table as well as the excellent customer base they have was a great fit for what we were looking to accomplish with an acquisition. Add to that the benefits of the MicroAge Franchise program and we had everything we needed to achieve our growth goals. This acquisition will allow our combined team, our customers, and our partners to grow with us” said Lynda Pattie, President and Owner of MicroAge Prince George.

“MicroAge Canada looks for people and organizations who want to take their businesses to the next level. Our Franchise program allows for the acceleration of their transformation journey by enabling added service-delivery capabilities, and efficiencies in their overall business operations. Over the last several months, we have gotten to know Lynda very well as she has us. We are very confident in the success of this partnership and we are very happy to have her and her expanded team join our family” Phil Palmieri, President of MicroAge Canada said.

“I and the MicroAge Canada team want to take this opportunity to thank Lori and her late husband Mike, for their contribution during the past 21 years, and wish Lori all the best with her future plans” added Phil.
